State regulations require that those engaged in asbestos related activties attend a refresher on an annual basis. Training should occur every twelve months from the date of initial certification. USEPA prohibits individuals from working on asbestos activities unless they have attended training in the last twelve months. NYS requires proof of training to apply for annual recertification. Attendees must show proof that they have completed an initial or refresher training in the same discipline in the last twenty-four months to be eligible for recertification. PLEASE NOTE: This course is often presented during the first half of the project monitor recertification.

Registration/ Cancellation Policy
Full payment or provision of company purchase must be complete
no later than 2 full weeks of course start date.
EEA reserves the right to cancel programs due to low registration in advance of course start date. Refunds will be issued if the student cancels at least five (5) working days prior to class start date. If course is postponed, we will either apply payment to the next course or provide a refund. If a student does not cancel their registration or begins class and is unable to complete, the student is ineligible for a refund and is responsible for full tuition.
