Lead Inspector Initial | Buffalo, NY | Environmental Education
Lead can exist in homes and structures without residents’ knowledge, posing significant danger, especially to children. Lead Inspectors detect the presence of lead-based paint (LBP) and determine if LBP is a hazard, which is essential to hazard control efforts.
This 24-hour initial lead inspector course is for anyone conducting lead-based paint inspections, surveys, paint sampling, and clearance examinations in target housing and child-occupied facilities.
This course includes comprehensive education on sample collection and reporting, using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) on-site monitoring instrumentation, and materials sampling.
Upon completing this course and passing the third-party exam, you’ll be considered an EPA-Certified Lead Inspector.
