Testing dust samples for lead exposure requires understanding safe lead dust testing regulations and the health risks of lead exposure.

This 8-hour course teaches participants how to perform lead-dust testing in residential and child-occupied facilities adhering to the EPA’s renovation, repair, and painting (RRP) rule, and the HUD’s Lead Safe Housing rule. No prior experience in lead dust testing is necessary. 

Upon completing the course and passing the in course exam, you’ll be an EPA certified lead dust sampling technician. Refresher courses are necessary to maintain certification.
