Workers on asbestos abatement sites, even those not directly handling asbestos, need asbestos-related education for safety.

This 16-hour course covers asbestos dangers, detection, PPE usage, job site preparation, and decontamination procedures. It prepares participants to work safely on abatement sites.

Upon passing the exam, participants become certified as Asbestos Allied Tradespersons. Refresher courses are required to maintain certification.
